| 英文描述 | A proportion of 'stressed' ewes lose their fleece and develop bald patches over a large area of the back. The rump, lumbar area, and neck are at highest risk, and the entire fleece can be affected. There is no effect of breed, twinning, or temperature on development of the syndrome. There is no pruritus. Affected individuals do not appear to be at increased risk of developing the syndrome a second year. The wool regrows normally after it has been shed. |
