| 英文描述 | A dermatitis of sheep caused by hemolytic STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS has been described. Usually a suppurative dermatitis of the skin of the face and head, but in one outbreak only the legs and feet were affected. Outbreaks of dermatitis of the teats in lactating ewes were also reported. A milder form called Staphylococcal Folliculitis is seen in lambs from a week of age. Outbreaks may be seen. The lips, nostrils, ventral aspect of the tail and perineum, and periorbital area are common sites for infection. Dx by culture. |
