| 英文描述 | Sheep are affected by the lice BOVICOLA spp., DAMALINIA OVIS, LINOGNATHUS OVILLUS, L. PEDALIS, L. STENOPSIS, and L. AFRICANUS. DAMALINIA CAPRAE, one of the common lice of goats, was found on sheep in Australia. Signs are absent in summer, worst in late winter. The sheep ked, a wingless fly, is MELOPHAGUS OVINUS. Dx by identification of parasite. Pruritus can be intense, however there can be inapparent infestations. Foot lice have caused lameness. |
