| 中文描述 | 本疾病可能單側、也可能雙側同時發生。綿羊布氏桿菌是最常引發性活躍公羊感染的病原。本疾病也曾經發現過其他幾種陰性菌病原，例如放線桿菌屬、綿羊嗜組織菌，而且主要在未交配過的公羊身上檢出。有時也會發生檢驗不出病原的狀況。受感染的睪丸可能會形成廔管與表皮相通，而且睪丸有時會出現繼發性的萎縮或礦物質化。在公豬則常因外傷而造成本疾病。 |

| 英文描述 | May be unilateral or bilateral. BRUCELLA OVIS is the most common agent in sexually active rams. Several other agents, mainly gram-negatives including ACTINOBACILLUS and HISTOPHILUS OVIS, are also found, primarily in virgin rams. Sometimes no bacterial agent can be cultured. A fistula to the surface from the affected testis can form and the testis sometimes atrophies or mineralizes. Often secondary to trauma in boars. |
