| 英文描述 | New Zealand Romney sheep may suffer from cataracts inherited as an autosomal dominant. Most develop cataracts at 2-4 months of age, but a few have them at birth, and some develop them later. Lesions are discrete focal anterior and posterior cortical opacities either central or peripheral in the lens. The lesion is progressive, and can lead to blindness. All have been bilateral. Dx by signs and breed. |
