| 英文描述 | The thymus gland is sometimes palpable high in the neck of young goats and kids. This normal structure should not be confused with an enlarged thyroid. Due to excessive fat in the thymus, and are most common in young Nubian goats fed milk. Extrathoracic thymic tissue in the ventral neck region has also been reported in lambs and kids. Soft, variable in size and nonreducible. Regresses with age. |
