| 英文描述 | Trauma to the brachial plexus can occur to any animal, but is most common in dogs and cats following automobile accidents. This is usually a traction injury, which can affect the spinal nerve roots to the plexus, their ventral branches or the plexus itself. The onset of signs is sudden and is usually followed by neurogenic atrophy. Tumors of the brachial plexus can cause the same clinical signs but are slowly progressive. |
