| 中文描述 | 跳越病是由於感染了一種黃病毒屬病毒所引起的疾病。只有在不列顛諸島的反芻動物有感染病例，其他物種非常罕見。診斷必須依據病毒鑑別做判定。本疾病藉由蓖子硬蜱(IXODES RICINUS)進行傳染。因為山羊容易受到此病毒感染，且會由乳汁中排毒，目前尚未有野外感染病例的紀錄。 |
| 英文描述 | Louping ill is caused by a member of the genus FLAVIVIRUS, family FLAVIVIRIDAE. Seen in ruminants in the British Isles, very rare in other species. Diagnosis by viral identification. Spread by the tick IXODES RICINUS. While goats are susceptible to the virus and can shed it in milk, natural clinical disease has not been documented. |
