| 英文描述 | When vegetable material forms a mass in the digestive tract which causes intestinal obstruction the material is known as a phytobezoar. If the concretion contains a large amount of hair, it is known as a trichobezoar; a trichophytobezoar contains a mix of plant and hair. Obstructions due to this material have been seen in horses and sheep, and can localize in several areas of the digestive tract, causing colic and signs of obstruction. Dx at surgery. |
