| 英文描述 | Seen clinically in suckling pigs. Morbidity and fatality rates may be high. In most outbreaks the clinical disease lasts only a short time, and litters born 2-4 weeks after the start of the outbreak are not affected. Dx by identification of the causative CORONAVIRUS and histopathologic changes. There is no treatment. Exposure of pregnant sows to the virus will protect piglets through colostral antibody. Development of a vaccine has not been economically justified due to the sporadic nature of the disease. |
