| 英文描述 | Clostridial myositis usually develops within 48 hours of an inoculation or muscle injury. There is acute crepitant infection. Clostridia such as SEPTICUM, CHAUVOEI, PERFRINGENS, SORDELLI, NOVII and FALLAX might be found in the lesion, and involvement of more than one species of CLOSTRIDIUM is common. Intramuscular administration of nonantibiotic injectables is a common cause of this disease. Other terms that have been used for this disease include clostridial cellulitis, gas gangrene, gas edema, and malignant edema, with such terms sometimes associated with a specific CLOSTRIDIUM.
