| 英文描述 | Ionophore antibiotics are used as coccidiostats in poultry and growth promoters in ruminants. In swine, accidental exposure to high levels of monensin, salinomycin, maduramicin, or narasin in the diet causes cardiac and skeletal muscle necrosis. Serum levels of muscle enzymes such as AST and CPK are elevated and are useful in diagnosis. Dx by feed analysis and ruling out other causes of disease. |
