| 英文描述 | Splayleg is a condition in which the hind limbs and sometimes the front limbs are unable to support weight and the legs splay sideways or forwards. Some piglets recover if on good footing. Several causes have been proposed including slippery floors, heredity, mycotoxins, and underfeeding of the sow during late gestation. Fatality rates in affected pigs is estimated to be 50%. |
