| 英文描述 | Baby pigs raised in confinement become anemic due to iron deficiency unless supplemented, usually by iron injections. Better preweaning weight gains and higher disease resistance are seen in piglets given 200 mg of iron at a few days of age, and feeding lactating sows 2000 mg/kg iron in the feed was also protective. Diarrhea and steatorrhea can occur in iron deficient piglets. |
