| 英文描述 | Although newborn piglets in confinement systems are iron deficient, parenteral iron occasionally results in significant mortality, often within 3-12 hours after injection. There may be a relation between susceptibilty to iron toxicity and vitamin E/Se deficiency. Dx by history. |
