| 英文描述 | Coccidiosis is a frequent cause of swine diarrhea. Dx by examination of stool or scrapings of the jejunal and ileal mucosa. Most common in pigs 5-20 days old affected by ISOSPORA SUIS, with about 25-33% of the litter having diarrhea at any one time. Pigs farrowed on mesh screens or in pens bedded with straw are rarely affected. Morbidity is high but mortality is low. Grow/finish and adult swine occasionally have mild clinical signs associated with EIMERIA species. |
