| 英文描述 | Swinepox virus belongs to the family Poxviridae, genus SUIPOXVIRUS. The disease is relatively benign and systemic signs are not severe, although this virus has been associated with abortion in rare instances. In an affected herd, usually only the young animals are affected. There are sporadic reports of congenital swinepox, and the congential form can be fatal. Lesions are most common on the ventral abdomen, but not limited to that area. Streptococcal skin abscesses have been seen concurrently with swinepox. Signs usually resolve within 3 1/2 weeks. |
