| 英文描述 | Prostaglandins are abortifacient in mares. Prostaglandins and estrogens are abortifacient during early gestation in ruminants, as are glucocorticoids and prostaglandins during late gestation. Prostaglandins are commonly used in elective induction of abortion in swine herds. Either deliberate or accidental drug administration during those periods will lead to abortion in most cases. Drugs can be used to cause pregnancy termination on bitches and queens. Dx by history and ruling out other causes. |
