| 英文描述 | In this syndrome sudden death is associated with stress such as transport or chasing, or with drugs such as depolarizing agents like succinylcholine or anesthetics like Halothane. Typical clinical signs include hyperventilation, tachycardia, muscular rigidity, and rapid increase in body temperature. This is an economically important disease. Hereditary, and seen in most breeds of pigs (O'Brien). CPK levels elevated in susceptible pigs. Affected pigs may develop very high body temperatures during attacks. |
