| 英文描述 | Malignant hyperthermia occurs following anesthesia in some horses and pigs as either a fulminant syndrome or postoperative myoglobinuria and muscle pain. There can be metabolic acidosis, myoglobinemia, hyperkalemia, hyperglycemia, high blood lactate concentrations and creatine kinase activity, and myoglobinuria. In swine the syndrome is clinically identical to porcine stress syndrome. Dx by history and signs. Prevention and treatment (in pigs) using dantrolene was discussed by Claxton-Gill et al. Testing pigs for susceptibility to this syndrome is possible (Claxton-Gill). |
