| 英文描述 | Molds of the GIBBERELLA ZEAE group (FUSARIUM ROSEUM and F. GRAMINEARUM) can grow on grains, especially corn, and produce a toxin called zearalenone that has estrogen-like activity. Swelling of the vulva and vagina with secondary rectal prolapse is the most common sign. Dx by signs associated with finding zearalenone in the feed on chromatography. A change of feed usually leads to recovery in several weeks. |
