| 英文描述 | Poison Hemlock (CONIUM MACULATUM) is toxic to swine due to a nicotine like toxic effects of alkaloids in the plant. Poisonings usually occur when the pigs are penned in lots containing large amounts of hemlock or when feeds are contaminated by seeds. Dx by dietary history. Pregnant sows eating hemlock may have piglets with arthrogryposis and scoliosis, and experimental feeding has caused cleft palates. |
