| 英文描述 | Experimental induction of biotin deficiency in pigs leads to skin and hoof abnormalities, with hyperkeratosis and parakeratosis. In a herd of swine experimentally fed a biotin supplement the swine fed biotin had a decrease in foot lameness as compared to controls, and in particular there were decreases in cracks in the feet. The importance of this problem in the field is unknown. |
