| 英文描述 | Necrosis of the skin of the ears has been associated with skin infection by the spirochete BORRELIA SUILLA, STAPHYLOCOCCUS HYICUS, or B-hemolytic streptococci, but the cause is unknown. There may be mild sores along the ventral ear margin or tip, or the lesion can progress to large areas of ear necrosis. May become endemic on a farm. Secondary bacteremia with lameness and pneumonia may occur. In some cases lesions may also be seen on the head, gums, shoulders, side of the body, and scrotum. Necrosis of the ears and tail can follow severe disease which has led to circulatory disturbances. Necrotic and 'dry gangrene' type lesions of the skin of baby piglets is common. Lesions can involve any part of the body, including the knees, fetlocks, hocks, elbows, coronary bands, chin, sternum, rump, tail, teats and feet. Due to abrasion or an irritant on concrete floors. |
