| 中文描述 | 豬隻的背最長肌壞死會引起突然地背部疼痛和腫大以及動作僵硬的臨床症候群。有些病例死亡，有些痊癒，也有些病例留有萎縮的背肌。CPK含量升高。屍體解剖時背肌有壞死的情形。患病的豬隻體重都超過50公斤。脊柱側彎可導致單邊受影響。這可能是豬隻壓力徵候群的一種表現。 |
| 英文描述 | Necrosis of the LONGISSIMUS DORSI muscles in pigs can present as a clinical syndrome of sudden onset of pain and swellings in the back area and stiff movement. Some cases die, others recover, and some are left with residual atrophy of the back muscles. CPK is elevated. At necropsy there is necrosis of the back muscles. Affected pigs are over 50 kg in weight. Scoliosis can occur with unilateral involvement. This may be a special manifestation of the porcine stress syndrome. |
