| 英文描述 | Boars and sows between 5 months and 3 years of age occasionally develop separation of the head from the neck of the femur at the proximal femoral physis. Cause unknown. Can be unilateral or bilateral. Usually acute onset, but sometimes slowly progressive. Affected animals become alert downers. Can palpate crepitus at the coxofemoral area. Dx at slaughter. |
