| 中文描述 | 診斷新生仔豬甲狀腺腫。已被證實影響小豬甲狀腺腫大或功能不足原因，主要是由於碘攝食之缺乏或不足，或是飼料成分中含致甲狀腺腫源物質，導致腺體細胞增生或是腺腔內膠體分泌物增加所致。試著以遺傳染色體進行交配來供作先天疾病追蹤分析先天性甲狀腺腫缺陷(韋爾什曼et al.)。 |
| 英文描述 | Congenital goiter was diagnosed in piglets which were born dead or died soon after birth following a normal gestation period. Affected piglets were hairless and swollen, with enlarged thyroid glands. There was no evidence of iodine deficiency or goitrogenic activity in the diet. Analysis of pedigrees and a test mating indicated that the goiter was inherited as an autosomal recessive (Welchman et al.). There is no treatment. |
