| 中文描述 | 有病例報告指出貓咪會因為甲狀腺功能低下，而出現體型短小、外觀像幼貓體態、便祕、及發育停滯等症狀。血清中的甲狀腺濃度會低下或幾乎偵測不到，也無法因為促甲狀腺素的刺激而提升。在6月齡的病患，有可能出現觸診的到的腫大甲狀線。在少數品種貓有發生此及病的病例，阿比西尼亞貓也有遺傳性的病例。 |
| 英文描述 | Kittens were described which had short stature, infantile features, constipation, and failure to thrive due to hypothyroidism. Serum thyroxine levels were low or almost undetectable, and did not rise with TSH stimulation. Palpable enlargement of the thyroid glands might be present by 6 months of age. Has appeared in a few breeds, and appears to be inherited in Abyssinian cats. |
