| 英文描述 | The normal endocardium of small animals is a thin membrane. Thickening of this tissue by fibrous and elastic tissue is called endocardial fibroelastosis. This has been reported in puppies, with an onset of clinical signs of heart failure at 3-5 months of age. There is a rapid progression of signs in puppies, and most die within two weeks of onset of signs. Dx by histology of the endocardium. Fibroelastosis has also been described in kittens. |
