| 英文描述 | Lymphocytic-plasmacytic enteritis is a form of chronic inflammatory bowel disease associated with a lymphocytic, plasmacytic, and variably neutrophilic infiltration of the lamina propria and submucosa. The cause is unknown but might be an immune response to antigens such as bacteria or dietary products. This is one of the most common causes of protein-losing enteropathy in dogs and hypoproteinemia often can be found on blood examination, along with hydrothorax secondary to hypoproteinemia in some cases. Clinical signs might wax and wane. In some cases of inflammatory bowel disease, particularly in cats, the presenting sign can be vomiting without diarrhea. |
