| 英文描述 | Lenticonus results from developmental defects of the capsule of the lens, and may result in a bulging of the anterior, posterior, or equatorial portion of the lens. A hereditary basis is suspected but remains unproven. Posterior lenticonus is the more common type. Due to the association of lenticonus with dysgenesis of the anterior segment of the eye, it is often seen with other ocular anomalies. Associated with persistent hyperplastic primary vitreous in Dobermans. Dx by ophthalmologic exam, histopathology. |
