| 英文描述 | Bone cysts are uncommon in the dog and cat, and may be found as single or multiple lesions in the diaphysis or metaphysis of long bones. Cause unknown. Polyostotic lesions often present with lameness and swelling. Monostotic lesions may only show signs if pathologic fracture occurs. Dx by radiology and histology. Most common in proximal and distal femur and tibia. Polyostotic lesions are often associated with fibrous dysplasia. |
