| 英文描述 | Dogs have been described that had progressive respiratory disease associated with pulmonary granulomas characterized by an abundance of eosinophils and macrophages, with a mixture of other cells. Multiple nodular lesions of variable sizes with patchy focal alveolar densities were seen on radiography. There may be temporary response to immunosuppressive therapy. The cause is unknown, but a reaction to DIROFILARIA IMMITIS is suspected. Eosinophilia on cytological examination of bronchial washings is common. At necropsy there may also be eosinophilic infiltration of other tissues. There may be a left shift, eosinophilia, basophilia, monocytosis, and hypergammaglobulinemia on examination of the blood. This condition was described in a cat, but eosinophils were not seen with the lymphomatoid granulomatosis. |
