| 英文描述 | Ethylene glycol is a sweet, widely-available liquid commonly found in antifreeze. Acute toxicity from ingestion of large amounts causes CNS signs, vomiting, coma, acidosis and death. Ingestion of small amounts leads to renal failure which may progress to uremia and death. There are associated hyperosmolality and metabolic acidosis, with oxalate crystals often found in urine. Confirm by renal biopsy. |
