| 英文描述 | Eosinophilic gastroenteritis is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by either diffuse or segmental infiltration with eosinophils; eosinophilic gastritis, enteritis, and colitis are parts of the same syndrome localized in differing areas of the GI tract. Often accompanied by peripheral eosinophilia. Cause is unknown but an allergic or immunologic basis is likely. Eosinophilic granulomas might cause gastrointestinal obstruction. Diagnose by signs, endoscopy, biopsy, peripheral eosinophilia, response to treatment. Cats often have infiltration of other organs with a poor response to treatment; disseminated eosinophilic disease is rare in dogs. |
