| 中文描述 | 這是個狗和貓不常見的疾病,通常和狗的細菌性心內膜炎有關.其他的原因也是可能的,而且可能是為先天的損傷並伴隨其他異常一起出現.病症會和心臟的機能減退一同發展.如果細菌性心內膜炎為原因的話,病症可能會出現(週期性的發燒,跛行)或embolic shower(器官的功能不良,敗血症)可能也會發生.診斷藉由病症,心電圖,x光照相術,血管造影術.主動脈的鈣化也可能會出現. |

| 英文描述 | This is an uncommon disease of the dog and cat, which is usually associated with bacterial endocarditis in the dog. Other causes are possible, and it may occur as a congenital lesion with other anomalies. Signs develop with cardiac decompensaton. If bacterial endocarditis is the underlying cause,signs referable to this (recurrent fever, lameness) or signs referable to embolic shower (organ dysfuncton, septicemia) may occur. Dx by signs, EKG, radiology, and angiography. Calcified aortic valves may be present. |
