| 中文描述 | 大多數的心基腫瘤都發生在中年的短頭或是拳師狗身上.大動脈易位,甲狀腺或副甲狀腺腫瘤,化學感受器瘤,間皮瘤,心黏液瘤,和顆粒細胞腫瘤都有出現過.可能會在驗屍中無意間發現,但是當此症狀出現通常都會伴隨著心包膜積血與積水的現象發生.再x光片中可以看到支氣管的分支異位,還有因為心包膜的液體累積導致的心臟腫大.診斷可藉由心包膜穿刺術,心臟超音波,手術,以及驗屍.在貓身上很少出現但是也還是有這案例. |

| 英文描述 | Most heart base tumors occur in middle aged or older brachycephalic and boxer dogs. Aortic body, ectopic thyroid or parathyroid tumors, chemodectoma, mesothelioma, cardiac myxoma and granular cell tumors are reported. Can be incidental findings at necropsy, but when they cause hydro- or hemopericardium clinical signs follow. Radiographically there is displacement of the tracheal bifurcation and an enlarged rounded heart due to the pericardial fluid. Dx by pericardiocentesis, echocardiography, surgery or necropsy. Rare in cats, but have been reported. |
