| 英文描述 | Cholangitis, inflammation of the intrahepatic biliary ducts, has been reported cats and dogs. May be associated with secondary inflammation of the surrounding hepatic parenchyma, and termed cholangiohepatitis. Dx is made on the basis of clinical signs (which may wax and wane), liver biopsy, anaerobic and aerobic cultures of bile and hepatic tissue, and rule-out of other causes. Lesions at biopsy can show suppurative, chronic-nonsuppurative, or cirrhotic lesions. There is usually increased activity of ALP and GGT, conjugated hyperbilirubinemia, and hyperglobulinemia. Mild nonregenerative anemia and a neutrophilia with a mild left shift are sometimes seen. |
