| 英文描述 | TOXOCARA CANIS is an important parasite of dogs and is a public health risk due to its role in visceral larva migrans in man. In addition to transmammary, direct, and paratenic host transmission, the parasite can be transmitted to pups in utero, where they migrate through the lungs and to the intestine after birth, with ova shed at 18-21 days of age. TOXOCARA CATI, T. CANIS and TOXASCARIS LEONINA are the ascards of cats. Ocular migration can cause asymptomatic retinal hyperreflectivity and focal granulomas in dogs. Stillbirths and neonatal mortality have been reported in pups infected in utero but transplacental infection does not occur in cats. |
