| 英文描述 | CUTEREBRA SPP. are large flies whose larval forms can infect dogs and cats. Larvae form cyst-like subcutaneous swellings with a breathing hole in the skin, might partially protrude from the breathing hole, and will migrate in the skin for about one month. There can be drainage from the breathing pore. Sometimes seen in other areas of the body including the central nervous system, eyes, pharynx, trachea, and thorax. More common in summer and fall. Diagnose by identification of larvae. DERMATOBIA HOMINIS, which belongs to the family Cuterebridae, is found in Latin America and causes a similar syndrome. |
