| 英文描述 | Several species of chigger larvae cause lesions of the face and limbs in late summer and autumn. The larvae of the mite cluster on the skin surface. Early in the disease the larvae are found as small orange dots in the center of papules, and can be seen under the microscope after scraping of the papules. Larvae of NEOTROMBICULA, EUTROMBICULA, LEPTOTROMBIDIUM, SCHOENGASTIA, and WALCHIA (in the cat) have been implicated, in addition to other species. |
