| 中文描述 | 脂肪瘤是良性的出現在老年動物身上在狗是很常見的但是不常在貓上看到.可能是單個或是多個一起出現,且常出現在胸下腹部,和四肢的近端.脂肪瘤與周圍會有些許的界線存在.脂肪瘤含有纖維的成分被稱作為纖維脂肪瘤.由於位置的關係任何脂肪瘤都會導致機械性的干擾.脂肪肉瘤很少出現,會有滲透的情況但是很少會發生轉移.胸部內部的脂肪瘤會導致呼吸的病症.診斷藉由活組織切片法. |

| 英文描述 | Lipomas are common (dog) or rare (cat) benign neoplasms of older animals. They may be single or multiple and common sites are the thorax, brisket, abdomen, and proximal limbs. Poorly circumscribed infiltrative lipomas have been described. Lipomas with a fibrous content are called fibrolipomas. Any of these lesions may cause mechanical interference or pain due to location. Liposarcomas are rare neoplasms in either the dog or cat, and are infiltrative but rarely metastasize. Intrathoracic lipomas may cause respiratory signs. Dx by biopsy. |
