| 中文描述 | 腸套疊就是某部分的腸子被套入其前方或是後方的腸子.這在狗跟貓身上可能發生在任何位置,但是迴腸是最常見的.血痢,嘔吐再狗身上是最典型的徵兆.在貓身上食慾缺乏,體重下降,以及在腹部會出現一個可摸到的腫塊,這些是最典型的徵兆.這種病可以發生在任何年紀但最常見的是出現在一歲以下的動物身上.液體或氣體可能會堆積在腸裡因而造成損壞.不完全的阻塞會造成慢性的憔悴衰弱.發生此病的動物會擺出一些奇特的姿勢來減輕腹部的疼痛.壞死破裂之後就會急速的死亡.在經過手術解決之後,還是有可能會在復發. |

| 英文描述 | Intussusception, the invagination of a portion of the intestinal tract into the part that precedes or follows it, can occur at any location in dogs and cats but ileocolic is the most common. Bloody diarrhea and vomiting are the most consistent signs in dogs. In cats, anorexia, weight loss and a palpable abdominal mass are the most consistent clinical signs. Can occur at any age but most common in animals less than 1 year of age. Gas or fluid may accumulate in bowel proximal to the lesion. Partial obstruction could result in chronic signs with emaciation. Animals might assume abnormal postures in response to abdominal pain. Necrosis and rupture might be followed by rapid death. Can recur after surgical correction. |
