| 英文描述 | Chondrosarcoma is the second most common bone tumor of the dog. It is characterized by the formation of cartilage but not bone. Tumors more commonly develop from flat bones such as ribs, nasal turbinates, and pelvis. It is slow-growing, can meatastasize,and is more common in large but not giant breeds. Might be radiographically indistinguishable from osteosarcoma and definitive diagnosis depends on histopathology. Rare in cats. |
