| 英文描述 | Osteochondrosis is a disorder of epiphyseal cartilage which occurs in both the articular-epiphyseal cartilage complex and the growth plate. Large-breed, rapidly-growing young male dogs that have trauma to the joint due to exercise and receive a diet high in calories, calcium and protein appear to be predisposed to osteochondrosis. Site predilections for the humeral head, the femoral condyles of the stifle, femoral trochlea, medial ridge of the talus, and medial condyle of the humerus. Dx by signs, arthroscopy, and radiography. |
