| 英文描述 | Schwannomas in dogs and cats are rare tumors of which there are two ultrastructural and histopathological types: neurofibroma and neurilemmoma. The skin form consists of dermal nodules that are malignant in cats but tend to be benign in dogs. These often recur after removal. The neurologic form often involves the nerves of the brachial plexus and grows to put progressive pressure on the spinal cord; other nerves can also be affected by this tumor. |
