| 英文描述 | Attacks of intermittent muscle weakness have been described in several litters of Burmese kittens. Affected animals are 12 weeks to 1 year old. The major clinical sign is episodic weakness with head nodding and ventroflexion. Affected kittens may be poorly grown. Signs can persist for weeks, with return to normal until another attack. Some can die, or there can be resolution of signs without treatment. Elevated serum creatine phosphokinase and lowered blood potassium can occur during attacks. This might be an autosomal recessive trait. |
