| 英文描述 | D-limonene is a monocyclic terpene found in the oil of many citrus fruits. It has insecticidal properties, and has been used as a flea and tick dip. The recommended dose is a dip at a concentration of 1.5 oz/gal water of 78.2% d-limonene. Mild signs were seen at 5 times that concentration, while more severe signs developed at 15 times the recommended concentration. Dx by history of treatment and inappropriate dilution of the product. There may be secondary skin irritation at high doses, and blepharospasm if the dip gets into an eye. |
