| 英文描述 | Cats from 6 mo to 14 yr of age have developed a polymyopathy characterized by patchy areas of necrosis of individual muscle cells with macrophages, variation in fiber size, basophilia, interstitial lymphocyte infiltration and mild fibrosis. Persistent flexion of the head due to apparent weakness of the neck muscles is seen. This may appear as dorsal curvature of the back. Muscle enzymes are elevated. Weakness is worse in the forelimbs than hindlimbs. Dx by muscle biopsy. |
