| 英文描述 | Hyperaldosteronism has been described in cats with adrenocortical tumors. Clinical signs are related to the development of hypokalemia. In addition to hypokalemia, there can be elevated urinary potassium concentrations and elevated serum creatine phosphokinase activity. Diagnose by finding inappropriate elevation of serum aldosterone concentrations with normal-to-low fasting plasma renin levels. Imaging can be used to localize adrenal neoplasms. |
